Michael Mayer is a marine industry entrepreneur, restoration specialist, and business leader with more than three decades of experience in vessel restoration, marine service operations, and maritime business development.
He is the founder of Kingdom Restoration, Inc., a nonprofit organization dedicated to restoring lives through skilled craftsmanship through restoration work and other services.
For nearly thirty years Michael owned and operated Mayer Yacht Service, a full service marine business specializing in vessel sales, service, restoration, fabrication, and repair. Under his leadership the company grew from a startup operation into a regional marine enterprise generating more than $8.5 million in annual revenue while employing teams of technicians, mechanics, fabricators, and marine specialists.
Magi Berger supports Kingdom Restoration’s foundation relations and grant-development efforts. An attorney by training, she brings disciplined research, analysis, writing, documentation and relationship management to the development of KRI’s philanthropic and institutional partnerships.
Her work includes identifying aligned foundation and public-funding opportunities, coordinating grant materials, supporting stewardship and reporting, and helping KRI present its workforce-development and restoration mission clearly and credibly. Magi works with (and is) KRI leadership, educational and community partners, and prospective funders as the organization builds a sustainable foundation for growth.
